Mary Arose is currently working with producers Nick Johnson at On the Moon Studios in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Phil Ludwig with Seclusion Hill in Asheville, North Carolina to record her music.
She recently released a debut 4 song EP as part of a fundraising campaign to record her full album “Turn of the Tide”.
“Turn of the Tide" tells the story of healing her heart and head after a heartbreak and a traumatic brain injury from an accident this past summer. Mary Arose hopes to open her listeners hearts and minds through the power of this music, which has been so instrumental in her own healing process.
She also hopes to raise awareness about concussion, TBI and the empowering “Love Your Brain” movement!
Born in New Orleans and raised in Asheville, Tyler has a rich pool of inspiration to draw from. Over the years this “one man band” has created a Blues Appalachian fusion unique to the music scene.
When asked about his music he often refers to a quote from the poet Andrea Gibson...
“When two violins are placed in a room, if a chord on one violin is struck the other violin will sound the note. If this is your definition of hope, this is for you.”
Beyond his constant obsession with exploring the combination of new soundscapes...Tyler continues to share his creations in hopes of presenting opportunity’s for connection and growth among his listeners. Stating, “When performing, the audience is the star of the show. As a point of focus...my goal is to simply be a conduit for passing energy.”
“Tyler is connected to the essence of what makes a great musician in the same way rhythm is connected to melody”
